On ixla systems equipped with a magnetic encoder it is possible to test the device by reading and writing the magnetic trace of the cards that are equipped with it.
READ MAGNETIC STRIPE
to read the magnetic stripe, load the card with relative button in transport utils. Click the button “read” to see the relative tracks
WRITE MAGNETIC STRIPE
to write the magnetic stripe, load the card with relative button in transport utils. enter the string then Click the button “write” choosing the correct coercivity. The card then can be read with relative command
TRANSPORT UTILS
- Load card: Load card inside the encoder
- Flip: Flip the card (in case the magnetic stripe is on the opposite side)
- Eject: Eject the card
- Reset: Reset encoder and transport
