the control center allows to manage the basic functions of the system. It performs the main commands and allows to perform simple customization cycles. Useful for demos, diagnostics and troubleshooting:

LOAD CARD

picks up a document from the hopper and takes it to the next station. The destination depends on the system title. In desktop systems the target is the laser position, in modular systems the first module after the feeder

FLIP CARD

flip the card on the opposite side in case of card personalization system. This command is not available on passport personalization system

EJECT CARD

The card or passport is ejected into the output bin

RESET TRANSPORT

Reset the document trasport, clean the path and, where available,  reject eventual cards inside the unit

LOAD TEMPLATE

Load one of the Jobtemplate available on the application

START RED POINTER

Enable the laser diode to simulate the printing using the red aiming beam

STOP RED POINTER

Switch off the laser diode used as aiming beam

MARK FRONT

If the job template has been loaded the mark front button will start the laser personalization. The button is disabled if no template has been loaded or laser is not enabled (i.e: interlock)

MARK REAR

If the job template has been loaded the mark rear button will start the laser personalization. The button is disabled if no template has been loaded or laser is not enabled (i.e: interlock)

in this section it is possible to execute basic commands of the document transport module. The two combo boxes represent the starting position and the final destination of the document to be moved.
The selection must be coherent with the state of the machine and the document position along the trasnport line.
The position of the document is highlighted by the status of the relative module represented in the lower boxes.
